Defining Thanksgiving
The topic of thanksgiving can be mainly divided into two main categories.
One category is more defined by being appreciative of things going in a
desired direction. The other category does include the aspect of appreciation ,
but it also includes the belief that there is someone to whom is owed a heart
of thanks. As one explores the pages of the Bible , and encounters the

He blesses , how He blesses them , and why. God has shown that
He delights in those who choose to honor Him with trust , thanksgiving and
respect .
One individual who went from having everything , to nothing , and then having

At this time , it is November 2020 , and the world has been dealt a strong
blow by the pandemic called Covid-19. This virus has robbed the lives , livelihoods
and lifestyles of many across the globe , but for all of the tragedies that are being
faced , let us remember that God cares about the suffering of humanity and His
ears are open to respectful prayers . God is well able to heal bodies and minds , broken
hearts and suffering economies , so let's give Him thanks for every good thing
and lean on Him for our many needs.

May God bless this world , which is suffering under many types of hardships ,
with His grace , salvation and healing - everyday. Amen !

At this time , our frontliners { all first responders , the medical community
and other helpers } have suffered the brunt of the hardships that this pandemic has
brought upon the world. We owe them our deep gratitude , and we most assuredly owe
God thanks for the help that they provide , but we can take our thanks a few steps
further.
First , please pray for the frontliners to have all of the grace and salvation that
they need for their own well being , their jobs and their families.
Second , hospitals are pleading with people to wear their masks , and to avoid social
gatherings , in order to save lives and to prevent the medical community from being
dangerously overwhelmed.
Third , please pray for God to call people into the various frontliner career fields !
Sadly , too many have lost their lives while serving others . It is so imperative that every
region have a minimum number of professionals available to adequately service their areas ;
and since He knows those who would be an asset to certain professions and communities ,
let's pray accordingly .
Fourth , please take care of your health ! The fewer health problems you have , the
easier it is to recover from any affliction. In closing , please :
