[ God is speaking to His servant Noah. ]

22 “While the Earth remains,

Seedtime and harvest,

Cold and heat,

Summer and winter,

And day and night

Shall not cease. "

Psalm 74 : 16 - 17

16 " The day is yours, and yours also the night;

you established the Sun and Moon.

17 It was you who set all the boundaries of the Earth;

you made both summer and winter."

Psalm 147 : 15 - 18

15 " He sends his command to the earth;

His word runs swiftly.

16 He spreads the snow like wool

and scatters the frost like ashes.

17 He hurls down His hail like pebbles.

Who can withstand His icy blast?

18 He sends his word and melts them;

He stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow."

Psalm 63 ~ Perseids Meteor Shower

                                       The Thirsting Soul Satisfied in God.

                           A Psalm of David, [a] when he was in the wilderness of Judah.
Psalm  63

1 O God, You are my God; I shall seek You [b]earnestly;
My soul thirsts for You, my flesh [c]yearns for You,
In a dry and weary land where there is no water.
Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips will praise You.
So I will bless You as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
My soul is satisfied as with [d]marrow and fatness,
And my mouth offers praises with joyful lips.

When I remember You on my bed,
I meditate on You in the night watches,
For You have been my help,
And in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.
My soul clings [e]to You;
Your right hand upholds me.

But those who seek my [f]life to destroy it,
Will go into the [g]depths of the earth.
10 [h]They will be [i]delivered over to the power of the sword;
They will be a [j]prey for foxes.
11 But the king will rejoice in God;
Everyone who swears by Him will glory,
For the mouths of those who speak lies will be stopped.

This wonderful long-exposure photo was put on the public domain site called pixabay
by user " FelixMittermeier".  This picture truly exemplifies the varied angles that these
meteors enter our atmosphere. The streaks , dashes and fireballs that can show up in this
annual summer display are actually debris that originated from the Comet Swift-Tuttle ,
and it is called the Perseids Meteor Shower.   :)    ~  TAP the picture to ENLARGE.  ~
