The Number 13 Series : November 13

     To many , the number thirteen ( 13 )  has plenty of negative 

connotations , but here , on BIBLE PAGES , we're going to enjoy 

the number thirteen from a better perspective.   👍

    From HISTORY , November 13 certainly has a variety of good and

bad events , but two positive dates include : [ wiki sourced info ]

1956 - SCOTUS declared Alabama's bus segregation to be illegal.

 Racial hatred has no place in a clean heart.

If you are dealing with racial hatred , then please ask God for

forgiveness , and for Him to fill your heart with His love and grace.

He will forgive you and move many mountains for you , and for 

others , too.  God bless you as you pursue a pure heart !

1982 - The Vietnam Veterans Memorial was dedicated.

To our military personnel and families , our nation owes them 

a debt and full respect , irregardless of one's opinions of  their 

assignments at that time . Our nation tried to save South Vietnam 

from the very anti-freedom ways of Communism ; and even though 

South Vietnam fell to Communist North Vietnam anyway  -  

for numerous reasons - our major objective was noble . 

Those who lost their lives due to that war , they should not be

forgotten , be they civilian or military. And neither should we 

forget the mistakes made during that era that allowed the fall

to happen. Communism is always worthy of our best fight against it !

For the second week of November ( November 13 , 2020 ),

SPLIT PEA SOUP is the theme.  God blessed us with the

very healthful vegetable called the Pea , so if you can find a

way to enjoy peas in your diet , it will be an investment in your health !

Women : What is right ?

As this world delves deeper into darkness , as was
prophesied , even the definition of female has come
under a direct assault. In the Book of Genesis , God
created only two genders , male and female , and yet this
world wants children and adults to acknowledge the
perversion of gender identity . How can you respect
the uniqueness and beauty of the female-born if a
male is supposed to be "respected" as a "female"
just because that is how they choose to live ?
A gender identity "female" can never have female
DNA , organs or abilities - period. If one is born a
male or female , then that is how God will view them
in this lifetime , and at judgment. Remember that !

God wanted  humans , male and female ,
to procreate. Only the female can bear children ,
and that is one of the unique and beautiful aspects of
being a female. The Author of Life - God - gave
women the ability to share in the creating of life ,
and what a beautiful gift that is !   :)

With that in mind , it has become quite tragic and ironic
that women have used their modern influences to promote
abortion all over the world !

Women , who were used to having no voice when their
legitimate civil rights were being trampled upon ,
are now empowered enough to vehemently demand the
so-called "right" for legal acts of violence to be committed
within their own persons , resulting in the death of their unborn !


The unborn are not to be trivialized as objects of inconvenience .
They are human beings that are forming in the womb , which
God created for safety , growth and life .
For the aborted , they will never have the opportunity to know what
it is to be a person in this world , to enjoy what is right and
their own set of rights , because the right to their own life
was taken away from them . That shouldn't be .


In closing , know for sure , it is right to save a women's life when she
is at risk during pregnancy or labor ; but it is also the woman's right to forfeit her
life for the sake of her unborn , if she so chooses.  But one thing that is
absolutely crystal clear - it is NEVER right , nor is it ever a "civil right ", to
frivolously kill the unborn.

GOD HATES THE SHEDDING OF INNOCENT BLOOD !

            PLEASE   NOTE  :    If you have had an abortion , please  ask God  , in        
            Jesus' name , to forgive you of your sin(s) of aborting. Ask and you shall       
            receive !  If you have not accepted Jesus the Christ as your Lord and Savior ,  
            then please ask Him to cleanse you of your sins & come into your heart to live  
            with you forever .  Ask God the Father to send His Holy Spirit , right now , to  
            guide you into all of  His ways , for the rest of your life .  ~  God bless you as

     In today's world , people of all ages - from tiny children to the elderly - have access
to various screens , be they on televisions , phones , computers or movie screens. With all
of these screens filling the nations , we need to consider what we are allowing those screens
to show us. We need to screen the content of what we choose to see , and what we allow
to continue to see that was brought to us without our consent. An example would be if
you chose a wholesome program to watch , but midway through the program a sponsor
or the network showed something that is quite contrary to the wholesomeness that you
chose to watch. You'll have to make a decision : " Do I continue to watch a nice program ,
knowing that poor quality commercials could appear ; or do I change what I see on the
screen ? " Making a choice to prefer wholesome content is screening what you see or hear.
If something is unexpectedly brought to your attention , you can do a deeper screening
and choose to "stay or go " based on that new information.  Remember to consider if others
will be affected by what you are seeing or hearing. You may need to put their needs and
wants ahead of your own , especially if there are age considerations. Choose wisely !!

One Day at a Time , this New Year ......... & every year .

Welcome to BIBLE PAGES !  😊
    Today is the next-to-the-last day of 2019 , and many are counting the hours
until the clocks and calendars show that a new year has begun. Whatever your
plans are for the New Year's celebration , or even if you have no plans in
particular , please keep in mind that there is only One God and He created
just one of you , so take good care of you !  :) 
    Typically , New Year's Eve has a bustling of  preparations , but one very
vital issue that must take precedence over all other preps and priorities is 
the topic of safety. Care enough about your well being , and those of 
others ,  to use good judgement at all times . Moderate all of your choices 
so that you and others can enter the new year with wellness . It's worth the
effort !
    Sadly , those who choose to live without good judgment frequently
cause misery for themselves and others.  Each new year , it's the
unfortunate truth that the misuse of firearms and substance abuse are 
too commonly found to be at the center of many mishaps and disasters.
    Some recklessly discharge their firearms for celebratory purposes , 
which is quite dangerous , and it most certainly does cause fatalities.  
Don't end a life with the pull a trigger , whether it is to celebrate a new year ; 
or to purposely end a life due to the frustrations , disappointments or 
hopelessness of this lifetime . 
                              Learn to take it " One day at a time ".
     Another issue regarding safety is drunkenness . Some statistics have 
shown that as much as a 71% increase in DUI incidents occur on 12-31 to 
01-01 , over the average daily rates for the year.  DUI means that a person 
was under the impairing influence of a drug [ legal or illegal ] and/or alcohol. 
These incidents can and should be avoided !  Every year , many lives and 
properties are terribly affected by the poor choices of many who misuse 
various substances . Don't be one of them !
